Q-Optics MicroSight® is an innovation in Video-Assisted Minimally Invasive Surgery technology. The MicroSight® videoscope utilizes patented Air Shield® Technology and integrated tissue retractor tip to achieve unprecedented visual access for minimally invasive procedures.

  • The videoscope allows visualization that is superior in magnification and lighting to a surgical microscope while minimizing patient positioning issues.
  • The videoscope can be positioned and held by the assistant to allow both of the operator’s hands to be free.
  • MicroSight allows for very small minimally invasive incisions to access areas of bone loss for the treatment of peri-implantitis.
  • The videoscope assists with any surgical technique for treating peri-implant disease. The Wilson Technique which is aimed at removing embedded cement and titanium particles from the soft tissue surrounding the implant is shown.
  • MicroSight® can be used for surgical and non-surgical endodontic procedures.
  • Different views of the endodontic treatment site are easily obtained with minor movement on the operator’s hand instead of moving the patient or the surgical microscope.

MicroSight® Technology

MicroSight allows visualization superior to other forms of direct magnification and lighting that minimizes the need to maintain a fixed patient position. MicroSight works with the natural movements of a surgical technique by creating clear, bright, point of view retraction.

Patented Air Shield

MicroSight’s patented AirShield® flows a constant stream of air over the videoscope. The gentle flow pushes surgical debris, bodily fluid, and general fogging away so the live feed video remains unobstructed and clear.

Movable Camera

Camera slides forward and back slightly to optimize the focus onto surgical areas that are outside the normal 5-10mm depth of focus. Pushing the camera all the way forward allows quick cleaning of camera lens in the cases of debris or fluid attachment.
